TENACITY
TENAcity will embark on a tour of Malaysia starting in June 2023, kicking off with a performance in Shah Alam followed by Penang, Ipoh, Kuantan, Johor Bahru and finally back in Petaling Jaya.

TENAcity is the culmination of a profound passion for empowering seniors to champion active ageing and embrace the vibrancy of their golden years. This exciting musical journey aims to ignite a spark of nostalgia and create unforgettable experiences for both the band members and the audience. With chartbusters spanning the groovy decades of the 60s to the 80s, TENAcity’s performances will resonate deeply with the senior population, tapping into their cherished memories and lifting their spirits.
The name ‘TENAcity’ holds profound significance as it merges the name ‘TENA’, representing TENA’s commitment to excellence and support for seniors, with 'city,' symbolising the multitude of places the band will tour across Malaysia. However, the true essence lies in the word 'tenacity' itself, reflecting determination, persistence, and unwavering resolve. This name embodies the very spirit of active ageing – the sheer determination to live life to the fullest, regardless of age or physical limitations.
THE IMPORTANCE OF MAINTAINING AN ACTIVE LIFESTYLE CANNOT BE OVERSTATED, ESPECIALLY AS ONE GROWS OLDER.
This past weekend saw Malaysians from across the nation showcase their musical talents in front of a panel of judges that included celebrated Malaysian artists Manbai and Reshmonu.
A total of 111 participants composed of solo performers and bands took to the stage, belting out their favourite tunes for a spot in the TENAcity band and the grand prize of RM60,000.
We want to show Malaysians of all backgrounds that TENA is always here to support them to live their lives tenaciously unhindered by factors like age and socioeconomic status in order to continue their legacy.
